First Tuesdays are for Typography.

Since I was a kid I’ve loved fonts it’s always been the thing that has stood out to me. It can sway what I purchase, where I eat, and what brands I stay loyal to.

Type has a long history of weaving it’s way through our spaces, history and even the psychology of what we do and how we do it.

For these studio sessions we will explore type through different mediums going back to our school days and practicing penmanship for parts of the session as well as exploring the history, use and how to create our own fonts.

for our first edition we will be creating an assortment of buttons from magazine cutouts that we are drawn to and exploring the emotions behind our pull towards them.
