It's a Holiday House craft night at La Bodeguita. We'll be crafting our very own mini holiday houses set to house sounds by Ebryion.
Guests will leave with a handpainted/decorated house.
Con Amor: El Veneno teaches you how to make tamales
Join us as Kimmy Bazan leads us through the basics of creating our very own tamales. Tamales are a food of comfort, celebration, and nourishment through Latin American and Indigenous cultures. In this workshop Kimmy will guide us through how to perfect your tamales. What consistency you should look for, how to properly fill them and wrap them as well as having tamales for you to taste. While your tamales cook you will create a tamale ornament to commemorate your lesson and then we will have a community table for conversation and tasting the tamales Kimmy brings.
Participants will leave with 3 tamales each perfect for freezing and serving on Noche Buena.
Becoming Stillness: a mindful creation w/ Carey James
In this workshop Carey James will lead us through creating a piece of work which explores the intersections of peace and mindful creation through fluid abstraction.
Carey uses a range of mediums to create large scale pieces. Mixing fluid, color, and nature Carey explores what fluidity, movement and space can create.
These pieces would make a beautiful gift to yourself or a loved one. One of a kind and intentional to you.
Whimsy Power Hour: Polymer Clay Night
Influenced by the clock app again. Let's make some polymer clay ornaments to gift or keep for ourselves. This is the perfect night to unwind, destress and bring some whimsy into your December.
Participants will leave with a minimum of 3 ornaments each
Wheatberry makes gingerbread
Does this one even need a description? I think not. You + Gingerbread + Wheatberry + Holiday Cheer = perfect date.
Each participant will leave with their decorated cookies + light refreshments will be served.
Los Aires de Navidad: A domino night
una noche para un poco de lo nuestro. Let’s turn the block into a bodega night with dominoes, salsa y un poco de coquito of course.
We’ll have Bria on the aux + dominoes for a little competition as well as crafts if you are feeling festive.

Holiday Syrups with Perti-C
I have been counting down to this one ALL year. I bought a bottle of syrup from Emma last holiday and it was gone in three days because I found every excuse to make drinkies with it all day.
Join Emma from Pertinacious Coffee for this two hour workshop where each guest will learn how to make two holiday syrups as well as leaving with a recipe card for a special drinkies they can make with their syrup. While our handcrafted syrups cool we will decorate our gift tags and then our participants will get to take hope two bottles of syrup (perfect for gifting, or keeping for yourself like a greedy me)

Indigo Vision Boards
lets take a field trip to one of my favorite new spots. I’ll meet you at Indigo for a vision board workshop where we will explore our strengths, growth areas and visions for the upcoming year. An inventory if you will but not in the name of pressure and performance but rather in the name of graceful growth and soft reflection and renewal.
Michelle will guide you through a guided life inventory pulling from wellness principles and then you will be able to collage a vision board based on what you would like to dream up.

Join us as we wrap our year. I don't know about you but for me 2025 was full of both a lot of growth and love but also hardship and heard learned lessons. Let's get together and create a personal zine wrapping up the highs, lows and best memories of our year through the lens of our musical wrapped.

Collage Club: Holiday Cards
If you mail it by the 17th your card can still make it there by the 25th but first you have to make the cards so let's have us an evening where we create some cards for those we love and send them a little love.
We'll set the collage materials up buffet style so you can create the most delectable spreads worthy of all your friends and loved ones fridges.
participants will be provided with materials for up to 6 cards each.
Grown Shit: Holiday Garlands
Remember that scene in the holiday where they go to Jude Law's house and the girls have the whole living room decked out in paper chains and lights? That's what we're recreating. Come make garlands to deck all your halls. We will be focusing on paper garlands, orange garlands, ribbon garlands and greenery.
Light refreshments will be provided and each participant will leave with up to three garlands if desired.
Tin Ornaments
We've been influenced so we figured you might be too? Join us as we make Tin Ornaments. Dating back to the 14th century or earlier tin ornaments have been used as economical and whimsical decor through centuries used in Mexican culture as functional art with bright paint and intricate designs or in Europe as household items these little creations are a perfect way to create unique ornaments for your decor.
Participants will leave with 3 ornaments and trimmings.
Light refreshments will be provided.
December Craft Club: Show & Tell + Justin Bieber
It’s the most beautiful time of the year… we’re getting in the spirit with one of the best (in our humble opinions) Christmas albums and showing off and reflecting on one whole year of hobbies, crafts, community and growth.
Bring your favorite crafts you’ve made this year + show them to your friends. We’ll be making ornaments to commemorate one whole year of craft club as well.

mistletoe craft-a-thon
For the first 3 saturdays of this month we will be changing things up to fit mistletoe weekend. We’ll be hosting a craft-a-thon with hourly mini-workshops saturday so you can drop-in between shopping mistletoe market, hunnid dollar and ice skating.
We will have both reservations and drop in spots for these so if you want to plan us into your day get a reservation. The remaining slots will become first come first serve.

You know how your parents used to have those special decorations that came out every holiday? Well, it's time we make our own. Join us this Thursday to kick off our holiday programming with our friends at Springclean. With CT's guidance you will create a custom star from scraps to create a quilted cutie to perch atop your tree.

Tis the sznnnnn. The holidays are upon us and with those cozy family and friend meets ups comes the inevitable friction. TikTok's told you all about this magical word boundaries, you've read the books, watched the videos and maybe the concept still feels fuzzy?
Come sit with us as we play with air dry clay + explore what a boundary is, or isn't as well as how to enact healthy and sustainable boundaries of your own as you navigate this season of togetherness.
You will leave with your clay creations, paint pots and a finishing kit for your pieces as well as a better understanding of your own needs, role, and role in setting and maintaining healthier boundaries.
Botanical Cloches w/ ginkgo.ink
It's the week before the holiday kick off and we've got a special event in the studio. We have Sarah joining us to teach us how to create a botanical cloche which in turn is a perfect centerpiece for any holiday hosting you might have. It also is just a beautiful home piece and an exercise in mindfulness and the art of noticing.
Come join us to make your own magical world in a dome with moss, botanicals, and real preserved butterflies!
All supplies will be provided, however, if you have any outdoor finds from this year you’d like to add please bring them!
(Sticks, pinecones, dried plants, preserved bugs etc.)

Healing The Diaspora
Language is our first link to the world connecting us to ourselves, to others, and to the worlds before us and around us.
For a lot of us language is also the first thing that was lost as part of the journey to a new home. As our parents and grandparents assimilated so did we and in that we lost a piece of home.
I’m overjoyed to bring this to life with @sanalatine a small gathering to give us access to immersion. For those of us who are shy/no sabo/need to learn and practice this space is for you!
This is perfect for you if you are a no sabo kid or someone who just wants to speak in a space where they can practice with no judgement or expectations.
This is a free community event where volunteers pair with guests to engage in conversational spanish around prompts and facilitated arts and experience events.
Mindful Journaling: an intro to journaling with King Carla
Carla Aaron-Lopez is an artist educator with 20 years of experience in art curation, creation and education. Carla is also the creative and owner behind Blank Paper Creative.
Carla is going to guide us through the creation of a personal journaling routine sharing from her journey through creation and the benefits which intentional art led journaling can bring. Carla will guide us through a crash course on different forms of journaling teaching us how to incorporate different mediums such collaging, junk journaling, painting and sketching. Participants will leave with a provided notepad and practical examples and layouts for a personalized journaling practice.

We're thrilled to be welcoming our friend Shane from Westcott Studios to guide us through making our own custom iconic Westcott tote. Shane will be showing us how to press our own flowers into our bags to create a custom one of a kind design.

Recipe Box Workshop
Celebrate food, memory, and tradition. Participants will design their own keepsake recipe boxes. Whether you're preserving family recipes, curating dishes from your at-home restaurant, or starting a new culinary tradition, this hands-on session will help you craft a beautiful, personalized box to hold your most treasured recipes. Bring your stories and your love for good food. Bring a recipe to share or add to your box. The time will start with a food memory exercise and then move into time for your craft. We will end the time with a recipe exchange and space for food and kitchen stories.

Sir Will is back for round two. You guys loved this session so much we decided to bring it back + guide you through making, carving, and printing with your own custom stamp. We all come from unique backgrounds, cultures and experiences but one universal experience as cliche as it may sound is that of love. Lately I have been thinking a lot about what love is or isn't and how love shows up or how I show up in spaces of love and with love. This led me to have to question, well what even is love?
If you've also asked yourself this question then maybe this is the moment for you.
In this small group conversation we will explore love through 4 core questions:
Where do we learn love?
How do we feel loved?
How do we show up in love?
How do we cultivate love?
We will draw on literature, music, and culture to discuss what and how our definitions are made up of as well as resourcing art as a tool to process what we discuss.
This conversation group will meet 1x per week for 4 weeks from 6:30-8:15pm
Group will follow a simple outline to allow for conversation + co-learning:
6:30-6:45: intro's, catch ups, art choosing
6:45-7:30: guided conversation
7:30-8:00: flow art time
8:00-8:15: wind down + break off time

Stamp Camp
Join us Tuesday September 23rd for the first edition of Stamp Camp led by our favorite @sirwilltheartist
In this 1.5 hour workshop participants will learn about linocut techniques which they can put into practice during the class to create their very own custom stamp and print.
