Parallel Paint
This beginning painting course offers a welcoming space to explore the fundamentals of painting. We will work through a range of subjects including still life’s, landscapes, and portraiture while also working on studies of color theory, composition, and conceptual painting practices.
Class time will balance demo’ed instruction, discussion, and hands on painting, allowing students to grow at their own pace. This course is open to painters of all skill levels who would like to either develop or refine their skills in painting.
All supplies included as well as welcome to anyone no skill required.
Stay Curious: a zine club
Were you a magazine girl? I was. I used to collect them, hoard them and rearrange them re-reading the ones I loved and cutting up the ones I was less attached too but really I just loved the way that magazines could transport me to another space. Zines are naturally one of my favorite things as an adult because they can still educate, transport and transform.
this studio session is for you if you too were a magazine kid. Each session will provide you with the materials and direction needed to create your own zine based on different themes and prompts each month.
This month the prompt is: a zine about all the things I've ever loved.
we will explore how to catalog and document some of the most influential products, meals, songs and styles we’ve loved along the way creating a zine to hold reminders of the things we’ve held dear.
Documentary Night at La Bodega
You know what I realized last week? It had been at least two weeks since the last time I had consumed long form media. I mean I had consumed ALOT of media but it had all been bite size and on the internet. This realization made me sad so I thought maybe I should wean myself off short form content and try and reconnect myself to something that both piques my curiosity but leaves me knowing more than when it found me. Enter -- documentary night. Come spend the evening in your local bodega watching a new documentary every month where we can watch, craft and discuss as we go.
this month we are starting with: join or die a documentary based on the work of Robert Putnam and his sociological research around community.
CRUSH: learn to make your own prize ribbons
Come learn how to make your very own prize ribbons!
Jordan will walk you through creating the buttons and cutting and folding the ribbon. Then you will assemble your very own prize ribbon that you can decorate with pictures, buttons, trim, and beads!
By the end of the workshop, each attendee will head home with two finished prize ribbons + learn how to make them again and again.
You can make your ribbon a superlative, an affirmation, an ode to your childhood celebrity crush, a motivational award for being here and alive! Whatever your little heart desires come make a ribbon about it!

Cut + Paste: a collage fundamentals workshop w/ Nicki
Have you been considering how to get creative but just don’t know where to start? Often time when I feel like this I go back to fundamentals to help ground see and re-inspire me. One of my fundamentals is always a paper and scissors and so I am so thrilled to have Nicki, a multi-media artist in the studio teaching us all about the fundamentals of collage and leading us through a guided session where we learn to make a collage of our own.
This offering is perfect if you’ve been curious about where one can start and what tools you might need to get you there.
All supplies are included and each guest will leave with three guided mini collages and one larger piece.

Todays Color Crush isssss: if you’ve been following since my Limoncito Goods days you know that I love colors and that I’ve been documenting my favorite color combos throughout the day under #todayscolorcrush so when I asked King Carla to walk us through color theory we knew this was the perfect name.
Join us as we explore the connection between colors, color theory and feelings.
Each participant will learn more about the connection between their emotions and the colors around them as well as learning to create their own personalized feelings wheel which explore their connection to color.

Analog Friday: a phone free zone
Do you remember when we could spend an entire evening without checking our phones? Let's go back. Join us on the last Friday of each month for analog Friday where we leave our phones at the door and spend two hours playing with arts and crafts.

Cover Story Pt. 2
Cover Story 2 is a hands-on creative workshop where music, memory, and visual storytelling collide. Join us as Sir Will runs it back. Participants will arrive with a personal soundtrack; six songs that motivate and ground them. We’ll experiment with different art techniques to create an album cover that represents your unique track list.

Becoming Stillness: a mindful flow w/ Carey James
In this workshop Carey James will lead us through creating a piece of work which explores the intersections of peace and mindful creation through fluid abstraction.
Carey uses a range of mediums to create large scale pieces. Mixing fluid, color, and nature Carey explores what fluidity, movement and space can create.
this offering will be a perfect monthly way to come in, engaging in an alternate form of creative mediation and ground yourself in what you can create when given the time and space.
Whimsy Power Hours: polymer clay edition
join us as for our monthly hour of polymer play as we craft custom mini food charms to go on our journals, keychains and trinkets.

Bite Size Therapy
As we enter the season when most of us focus on love and the ways we feel loved and give love it can also be a time of re-assessment for the kind of love we accept and the kind of love we give. Does our love center others? Does our love center ourselves? Do we know how to find a balance between loving others and ourselves?
This session will focus on the exploration of what boundaries are and how we can explore them in ways that work for ourselves, our relationships and in culturally relevant ways.
Come sit with us as we play with air dry clay + explore what a boundary is, or isn't as well as how to enact healthy and sustainable boundaries of your own as you navigate this season of togetherness.
You will leave with your clay creations, paint pots and a finishing kit for your pieces as well as a better understanding of your own needs, role, and role in setting and maintaining healthier boundaries.

Cozy is back with a very special edition of a very cozy evening for valentines date night. Join us as we host you for low key night of jazz, crafts and connection. Guests will create paper self portraits of each other and leave with framed copies of their creations.

With guidance by King Carla and Michelle, we will take that hurt, turn it into a craft and help you release that which is old with the hopes of welcoming someone new. Got an old picture of that person? Bring it and let’s destroy it? Ever wanted to maim them? Draw that stick figure with a missing limb? Turn that HP and XP on a trading card into what that person was lacking and GET IT OFF YOUR CHEST AND MIND!

Bodega Baddies: a FLWRSTND galentines event
Calling all Bodega Baddies!!
We're thrilled to be partnering with our friend THE FLWRSTND for a galentines night bodega style. If you know us you know we love flowers, colorful things and a slow down moment to connect with ourselves + those we love and this workshop has all three.
Alana will guide us through the basics of floral design as well as providing examples and guidance as you create your very own flower arrangement. Chose your base vase, then chose from an assortment of flowers that THE FLWRSTND will provide and then spend 60 minutes being a florist! Participants will also get tin valentines to create their own message's as well as supplies to customize your vase however you'd like with supplies from our craft cafe.
we'll be playing a bodega baddies only playlist all night and each ticket includes two refreshments.

Solemates: a galentines hangout
Come kick it with your girlfriends, join us for a pre-galentines hangout created for the girls who love sneakers, style and nostalgia.
Kicks & Fro's will be bringing their iconic charm bar to the bodega and we'll be adding to the fun with our own twist on charms using shrinky dinks to create custom charms for your kicks.
Girlfriends will be playing in the background, of course, so we can discuss all of Lynn's choices and charm the night away.

Collage Club: 52 reasons I love you - collage card decks
I always see this one making it's rounds online and to be honest I just never make the time but this year I want to so I thought it would be perfect for collage club cause maybe you've been wanting to make this for someone in your life too but just haven't made the time.
Let's create some together - how many ways can you tell the one you love that you love them? come decorate a card deck using collage as your exploration. Make some silly, make some fun, make some heartfelt this is a gift that serves as both a beautiful reminder to the one you give it to but also a beautiful reminder of the many forms of love for you too.

Charmed: a ceramics workshop
I am sooooo excited for this one! So giddy to host local ceramicist Laryssa Paige in the studio.
Join us as we celebrate Galentine’s Day for a hands-on ceramic charm–making experience where you’ll design and create your own one-of-a-kind ceramic charm using white ceramic clay. Guests will hand-sculpt and paint their own charms exactly to their style. Once finished, charms can be used on journals, purses, necklaces, or other accessories.
No experience necessary, just bring your friends and your creativity!
Laryssa will take the finished pieces and kiln fire them and guests can pick up the pieces back at La Bodeguita within 3 weeks.

February Craft Club
February somehow is here so lets start it off the best way we know how - connection + creating.
If last month our focus was the future this month we take a trip back to our child selves. Often as we age we leave pieces of ourselves behind whether by choice or force of the world we get flooded with responsibilities, routines, and paths that often take us further and further from remembering what it felt like to be that young kid full of possibilities and hopes. For this months craft club we will be creating tiny altars of love to our childhood selves. Using cardboard to create our own pieces that hold our past selves with love while providing our adult selves with a reminder of our north stars.

Join us as Krishanni Smith leads us through the basics of camera use using whatever camera you bring for him to workshop with you (DSLR, phone, osmo, polaroid)

Each participant will get a bedazzle set and glue as well as a wax pencil to help get in the flow.

You guys loved it the first round so let’s give it another go. Come create your punch cards for 2026 with us. So many tasks feel overwhelming that it can help to break them down into micro actions. Come make your own set of up to 12 and then of course cause we are Pizza Hut kids at heart when you are done punching one of your complete cards bring them back and get a free craft on us!
